Hello Friend,

In life nothing is a mere coincidence. When I look back at my own life, I clearly see how
one thing had to happen for another thing to unfold. And such realization carries with it
a tremendous power.

My yoga journey began when I was 18. At that time, I used it mostly as a form of
exercise, though I was intrigued by the deeper nature of yoga. But life happened and I
left yoga for over a decade. Fast forward to when my third child turned two and I
realized how I really longed for something, something deeper. And that something was
a way back to finding me.

As fate would have it, I went to Happy Jack’s yoga class in Helsinki and I knew that I had
found the tools I was looking for. I needed to explore it further, so when Happy Jack
Yoga organized their first ever Yoga Teacher Training I joined without hesitation. And it
was one of the best decisions I ever made.

At that time I was also thinking about my future. I was scheduled to go back to work
after my maternity leave although I had learnt to listen to myself and I knew that I really
needed to be doing something different. At the same time I was bothered by a constant
worry. I was diagnosed with pregnancy diabetes with my two youngest children and
although my son was almost three by this time, my blood sugars were still not back to
normal levels.

I embarked on a mission to regain my health leading me to try all diets in the book to
get my sugar levels back on track. It was exhausting trying to juggle that, a job and a
family with three kids. Being diagnosed with diabetes type 1 soon thereafter was almost
a relief. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disorder and no diet or exercise in the world
could have helped me, only insulin treatment. My body and my mind were worn out. I
subsequently spent many months working on my health in a holistic way.

Today, with the right kinds of food, supplements, exercise and meditative practices I am
now thriving and actually feel better in my body than ever before.

It was during these struggling times that I decided to leave my job and graduate as a
Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Today I feel so empowered,
happy and blessed. And I know deep down in my heart that it all happened for a reason.
And that makes me smile. What I want to tell you is this: We are all capable of great
things; we are all capable of shedding our outer layers and rise up to even greater
versions of ourselves.

If something of what I have told you speaks to you, I invite you to connect with me. I
feel very powerfully equipped to be of service because of my knowledge from my

personal experience as health coach, yoga teacher, diabetic, mother, wife and fellow
human being. I would love to share all that I have learned with you.
